NATURE SABBATICAL WEEKs
~ Arrive on Monday and depart on Sunday ~
WINTER SABBATICAL WEEKS: Dec 2024 to mid-Mar 2025
SPRING SABBATICAL WEEKS: April to mid-May 2025
WHAT WILL IT FEEL LIKE?
Imagine yourself immersed in nature just resting, daydreaming and stargazing for a week or even longer. Give yourself permission to shift from “doing” to “being”. Bring silence to your planning mind and allow your intuitive spirit to guide you back home to yourself.
Reset every day with a refreshing cold plunge in our creek. Daydream on a hammock and reimagine what’s possible in your life. Quench your thirst with our sweet alkaline well water. Sleep in an intentionally attuned space for deep, restorative rest. Play, create, and vision whenever the inspiration strikes. Nourish yourself on sacred land that’s attuned for deep rejuvenation and inner transformation.

Our Sacred Land in Mount Shasta, CALIFORNIA
Hestia Retreat Center is our 10-acre sanctuary located near Mount Shasta, California—one of the most potent healing vortexes on earth.
We are on the sacred land of the Karuk and Shasta tribes. Our flowing creek hosts a rare convergence of purifying red and white minerals symbolizing the union of the masculine and feminine energies within each of us.
Our sanctuary is just a 5-hour drive from Portland, Oregon and San Francisco, California. We are just 1.5 hours ways from two airports (RDD and MFR) and easily accessible by train and bus.

We are only a 5-hour drive from Portland, Oregon and San Francisco, California.
The closest airports are 1.5 hours away in Medford, Oregon (MFR) and Redding, California (RDD).
The closest Amtrak stop is in Dunsmuir, CA. We can help you arrange a local car service from the train stop to our retreat sanctuary.
-
Unless it’s a special sabbatical program week, we don’t offer group meals.
We understand it can be a hassle to plan your meals while on retreat, so we offer a simple meal delivery service from a local food cooperative as an add-on. Your living space would be stocked with healthy catered food to easily heat up at your convenience. Here’s a sample menu to choose from!
-
We offer spacious yurts, a creekside eco-cabin, and deluxe summer glamping tents fit for every budget. Each space is designed to feel “private” but is also within 1-2 minute walking distance from the shared bathrooms.
-
The yurts and creekside eco-cabin all have a microfridge, toaster oven, stovetop burners, pots/pans/utensils, salt, pepper, oil. You will need to bring additional spices for cooking. Complimentary tea and coffee is provided.
Our deluxe glamping tents (available spring/summer/early fall) come with a personal cooking kit with a camping stove. You need to bring your own cooler and ice to store your food in your car like in a campsite.
We have a microwave for guest use in the communal laundry room.
-
Our retreat sanctuary is most ideal for unplugging, resting, creative visioning. You can expect 1-2 bars of cell service with access to 5 bars just 1 minute drive up the road.
We have basic satellite internet available in one centralized outdoor location. You can ask for the password if you need to check emails.
For more in-depth computer work/zoom calls, you can book a $15 co-working day pass in our private office in the town of Mount Shasta (which is just a 15-20 minutes away from us).
-
There are 3 toilet/sink combos by the yurts and 1 communal bathroom with a shower by the Mongolian yurt. We have 2 outdoor showers available in the summer under the 30-foot mama yurt.
The creekside eco-cabin has its own private en-suite bathroom and outdoor shower.
We use composting toilets to maintain a light footprint on our land. They are very clean and get serviced daily. Just follow the signs on how/where to sit and you’ll be good!
-
The sabbatical experience is designed for you to connect with your internal wisdom by being on the land. So the spaciousness and alone time is intentional. Many people realize how much more solo time they need in their lives and dedicate more time and space to themselves after the sabbatical experience.
You will get a group orientation on the group chakra experience on the second day of your sabbatical week to meet others who are on the land.
You will receive quite a bit of support from the Hestia team throughout your week to make sure your needs are met.
If you would like more group time, join our special sabbatical weeks or book additional 1:1 coaching sessions with us to get more in-depth support during your stay.
-
We offer 1:1 or small group movement, yoga, and dance classes in addition to massage, energy work, sound healing, acupuncture services. Every wellness partner we work with has been carefully vetted and is top notch in their modality!
Some of the healers we work with only offer sessions in their private offices in Mount Shasta. Many of our wellness partners can come onsite, which is such a treat!
For in-depth coaching support, you can also book 1:1 sessions with our Hestia coaching team. We also offer coaching packages to support your integration back home.

REVIEWS FROM OUR GUESTS
EILEEN S.
DANA V.
“Hestia is a haven for cozy comfort and clear connection with nature right outside your door and window, creeks, pines, mountains and crisp air amidst the healing that happens both within and without.
I have never eaten or slept so well and truly felt at home in your forest. Much needed. Cannot wait to go back. Thank you so much. With gratitude.”
KAMILAH M.
“When you arrive, you cross a bridge that reminds you–you are at the right place. The place that allows you to authentically connect with…the little things, reflections, fires, and nature.
A reminder of love, compound words and creative journeys. Inspiration wrapped in the stars that metaphors or transitions to a tree with pretty ribbons named Zora. Whose eyes were watching…the flow of inspiration. It was Hestia with a view of Mount Shasta nestled in a pampered retreat between springs and Weed that offered the standard of…Retreat The place of, be, grow, to….Live“
ANGELIQUE L.
“This quiet gem in the middle of the forest is a beautiful, magical oasis. Perfect for respite, relaxation and retreat. A wonderful place for clearing your mind and reconnecting to Mother Earth. And focusing on what is important and creating.
Belinda has thought of every detail and make the experience wonderful with providing local information and providing a relaxing, comforting home environment. Thank you, so much! Namaste.”
